Garmon & Company is the foremost commercial flooring contractor, headquartered in Charlotte North Carolina, with over 35 years of successful commercial projects and a rich history behind us.

Bettye M. Garmon started her first commercial flooring business in 1983, renaming the company, Garmon & Company, Inc. in 1995.  Bettye was a pioneer in the commercial flooring business in Charlotte, as the first woman owned commercial only company. As a strong visionary woman in the commercial construction industry, she built business on industry knowledge, dependable service and solid relationships with customers and vendors alike.

In 1997, Scott Garmon, Bettye’s son, joined the company, building upon this foundation. Scott helped grow the business from a local and state market presence, to one that is focused nationally as well, leading with the same ethics and principles that have been in place since 1983. 

Today Scott Garmon leads the company as the 2nd generation company president and co-owner.  He has created a vision of market diversity with teams structured for the specific requirements of each industry segment that we service.  Scott has kept the company fully engaged in the flooring industry for continuing education and training, striving to stay ahead of the curve on best practices, processes, new product technologies and industry partnerships.  He works closely with the company’s leadership team and key team members to strive for constant communication and a focus on quality.   Scott continues to lead on the foundation of relationships, solutions and above standard customer service that will remain the core of the company, as it has for over 35 years.
